Pre-Construction | Cost Management & Estimating

Our pre-construction team participates in the activities of planning a project. In addition to estimating, the team contributes in design decisions, evaluations, studies, value engineering, value analysis, scheduling, constructability reviews, and more.  Our team is qualified and experienced to assist with site analysis, including creating a site master plans, and assist with meeting agency requirements and approvals, including permitting and tie in and connections with utility providers.

Value engineering and constructability reviews ensure the scope of work conforms to the budget.  Detailed conceptual estimates are prepared and life cycle cost analysis are provided.  Alternate solutions have a positive impact on cost, schedule and quality.  This phase provides a key opportunity to consider financial viability of the project and allows the Owner to finalize decisions regarding first cost vs. life cost.

Staff Augmentation

Cost-effective staff augmentation services to mitigate client’s costs while providing the expertise their projects require.  Our Project Managers and Project Engineers become a seamless extension of our client’s team, responsible exclusively to the Owner.

We oversee the practice of design and construction management services provided to an Owner that typically has multiple concurrent projects underway.  Program management offers standardization of criteria and also provides economies of scale.  Comprehensive management takes place at every stage, providing input regarding estimates, scheduling, constructability, value engineering and general insight.
