PEG Contracting, a SDVOSB and HUB Certified Construction Management firm, is pleased to announce the recent promotions of Chris Horn, CFO, Shay Nuckols, Vice President, and Robert Sunukjian, Vice President of Preconstruction and Business Development, effective October 2018.
As the newly appointed Chief Financial Officer, Chris Horn is responsible for driving the company’s financial planning, and building a financial culture focused on supporting the needs of our Clients. He will perform risk management analysis, participate in the development of PEG’s strategic plans and programs, and provide technical financial advice to the team. Chris has over 20 years of experience in the industry, has successfully managed multi-million-dollar projects and has proven capabilities in team leadership. He joined PEG in 2014.
In his new role as Vice President, Shay Nuckols will enhance and develop the policies and procedures of the organization by way of systems that will improve the overall operation and effectiveness of the team. He will have overall strategic and operational responsibility for the organization and work with the staff to ensure PEG is providing solutions to our Clients. Shay brings over 19 years of construction experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and manufacturing industries. He has led ISPE Facility of Year Award winning projects and over the years has worked with clients such as Novo Nordisk, Biogen, Merck and MedImmune.
As the Vice President of Preconstruction and Business Development, Robert Sunukjian is responsible for all aspects of preconstruction services including estimates, systems studies and comparisons, value engineering, subcontractor solicitation, and detailed planning. In addition, he will establish the corporate business plan, set priorities for firm’s business development and maintain Client relations. Robert brings over 20 years of experience with a technical laboratory facility construction background and is educated in Facilities Management, Planning and Design. He has strong reporting skills, manages and coordinates large teams, and excels at identifying and executing cost saving strategies.
