PEG Welcomes New Staff Members

In the past six months, the team has grown with the addition of 5 new full-time employees. “We have been fortunate to attract and retain experienced and talented construction professionals.  Our culture of teamwork is built upon a commitment to employee professional development and a family-like work environment,” states co-founder, Scott McEntee.

The new staff members include:

 

Chris Horn: Mr. Horn joined the PEG team in July as Senior Project Manager.  He brings 16+ years’ experience in Heavy Civil/Site construction and management.  In this role, Mr. Horn will assist clients’ with their contract management, schedule development, project management and cost management needs to meet and exceed project expectations.  Currently, Mr. Horn is working on the DOT road work improvements associated with the Syngenta Innovation Center RTP Expansion project.

 

 

 

Kevin McGrew:  Mr. McGrew also joined the PEG team in July as our first Superintendent.  He brings 20+ years’ experience in commercial construction and has an extensive knowledge of OSHA regulations.  As Superintendent, Mr. McGrew will address client’s needs by providing overall field supervision, site logistics and management of crews, equipment and schedule. Mr. McGrew worked on the Syngenta Greensboro Roofing project and is now transitioning onto Pearl Therapeutics, Inc. R&D and Lab Expansion project.

 

 

Christian Groner: Mr. Groner joined the PEG team in August as Project Manager.  He brings 12+ years’ experience as a Registered Mechanical Engineer with an emphasis on process systems in Biotech Facilities.  As a PEG team member, Mr. Groner will address our client’s needs by providing oversight on program compliance, equipment specifications, systems integration, and a final documentation review.  Mr. Groner is currently assigned to the Pearl Therapeutics, Inc. R&D and Lab Expansion project which is scheduled to commence in early 2015.  He will also be part of the team assigned to the Argos Therapeutics Project which is anticipated to begin in the second quarter of 2015.

 

 

 

Jeff Tucker: Mr. Tucker joined the PEG team in early September as a Project Manager.  He brings 12+ years’ experience in Project Engineering with an emphasis on mission critical and biotech projects.  Mr. Tucker will address clients’ needs by providing project management, services for scope creation, bid solicitation, contractor selection, coordination, and final close-out.  Currently Mr. Tucker is completing facilities projects for Syngenta’s Greensboro location.
